The Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association represents 34,000 women and men who have chosen teaching careers in the English Catholic schools of Ontario.

We are the Elementary, Secondary, and Occasional teachers who are employed by the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario.

Our over 800 members teach in 45 schools, east to Cornwall, west to Perth, north to Rockland, and south to Gananoque. Our board serves a horse-shoe-shaped area around Ottawa-Carleton, encompassing the counties of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville, Prescott-Russell, and Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry.

The larger cities included in our boundaries are Cornwall and Brockville, with a number of smaller communities throughout the region. Spanning such a large area and having a dispersed membership has been one of the greatest challenges to communication we have faced as a unit. Our hope is that this website will be a useful tool in facilitating communication with our membership, as well as with the public.
