RECERTIFICATION UPDATE

The Bureau of Education and Research (BER) has joined a number of school boards and other educational agencies including the EOSDN in removing its provider status. BER offers a number of conferences for teachers including the upcoming Ontario Kindergarten Conference which will be held on March 22 and 23, 2004. It is a positive and welcome move on the part of these organizations to remove their provider status. Teachers are eligible to apply for individual PD grants for all workshops and conferences given by non-provider organizations.

It remains our hope that EOCCC will follow the example of these other organizations and will also remove themselves as a provider.
