COURTESY POLICY (appended)
This is a reminder about our Eastern OECTA Courtesy Policy. We are requesting that Staff Representatives purchase a sympathy card and Mass card on behalf of our members in the event of the death of an active or retired member, a death in a member’s immediate family, the death of a non-OECTA staff member or a Board student. In this way, the mass can be said locally to allow for attendance of family and friends. Please fill out an expense claim form indicating the name of the deceased and fax it to the Unit Office. In the event of the death of an active OECTA member, a $200 donation will be made to a charity of the family’s choice in addition to the Mass card. This donation can be made through the Unit Office if you forward us the name of the charity.

SOCIAL NOTES
Thanks are in order for Kevin Hogan and Bev Lee for coordinating the annual volleyball tournament and curling bonspiel. Their efforts, and those of their assistants, made both events a success. Planning for the retirement dinners in June will begin in April. If you are interested in assisting, please call the Unit Office.
